Our products are made from high-quality PU Waterborne material, a safer alternative that’s both durable and non-toxic, making it ideal for little ones. PU Waterborne materials are free from harmful chemicals, like phthalates and BPA, which are common concerns in other plastics. Our Gentled products are stuffed with high-density foam, which have been tested and confirmed to have no traces of formaldehyde, lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers and phthalates. That means it’s not just safe but also perfect for playtime, tummy time, or any adventure your little one dreams up!

Absolutely! Our products are crafted from PU Waterborne material and high-density foam, which is non-toxic and free from harmful chemicals like BPA and phthalates, making it safe for little ones. The back of the non-gentled mats are flocked. This imbues texture, friction and durability into the mats. The flocked fibers ensure the mats can withstand any surface - take them everywhere. Our personal favourite is the beach!

When you first get your mats, it is likely that there may be wrinkles / fold lines. Not to worry, these crease lines should smoothen out on their own in a couple of days when laid flat. If you wish to quicken this process, lay the mats flat under sunlight, or steam the underside of the mats. Do NOT iron the mats.

Our mats are all about convenience! For everyday messes, a simple wet wipe or damp cloth will do the trick. Just make sure the mats are completely dry before storing them away. We get it—life with little ones can get busy! If you find some stubborn, dried-on food stains later, no worries. Start with a bit of dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge. If that doesn’t do the job, try a multi-surface cleaner with a cloth. A few important don’ts to keep your mats looking their best: Don’t iron the mats. Avoid rubbing alcohol, especially on printed areas. Stay clear of non-washable paints and markers. Some foods, like tomato-based sauces, may stain if left too long—so try to clean those up quickly!
